Veterans’ Museum to Receive
Historic Navy Ship’s Mast

Bill Linn arranged a crew to dislodge the mast from its foundation, hoist it out with a crane, cut it into three sections for transport on a flatbed semi-truck and haul to its new location at the Veterans Memorial Museum from Portland on the Columbia River up Interstate Highway 5 about 80 miles north.

The process took two days...
